So far the hospital have no cardiac ward or a coronary care unit. With the hard work and the dedication of the director, a new establishment was built. It will be opening on 22nd March 2022 by Director General Health services.
This establishment consists of 13 beds for patients who are getting heart diseases. The unit consists of modern equipment to treat cardiac diseases.
Open for everyone to witness the ceremony.

 

 

Food project initiation

The project is started as a concept of the director in order to provide healthy, nutritious and safe foods for the patients in DGH Chilaw. The project includes cleaning of plates (3 times), sterilization of plates and distribution of foods in a healthy manner by covering each plate by a cover.
