The Genitourinary Surgery unit of District General Hospital Chilaw is led by Dr. K. Vickneswaran, Consultant GU Surgeon and Four Medical Officers.

The main areas of responsibilities of the Unit is to look after the inward patients, to attend Ward referrals, attend for routine and emergency surgeries, and conduct clinics for patients.
