Obs and gyn unit of DGH Chilaw serve their service starting from antenatal period to menopause of a woman. The unit look after the antenatal mother till its delivery. They conduct sub fertility clinics, antenatal clinics, well woman clinics and family planning clinics.
Apart from that inward patient care is a responsibility of the obs and gyn team. Further the unit involves in health education of the patients

Clinic Dates
Antenatal Clinic | Every Monday | 7.30am - 12pm | Bring the referral letters from Ward discharges, MOH, other clinics and OPD | Patients who are with referral letter will be checked at any clinic time - No need of taking appointments |
Blood collection for OGTT | Every thursday | 6am | Patients should be referred from Antenatal clinic | Appointments are given at antenatal clinic |
Lactation center | Every day | 8am - 4pm | Bring the referral letters from ward 10 and 8 post natal side, well baby clinic, SCBU, Ward 11 (Paediactric ward), field PHM OPD and self referral | No need of taking appointments |
